Flora Park of Surabaya
For Surabaya people, they surely know about the Flora Park or “Kebun Bibit”. One of much city forests which is very popular. The popularity is caused by not only the place and the situation there but also the controversial problem which is related to that place. As one of many city forests in Surabaya, “Kebun Bibit” or Flora Park has provided the healthier air for the Surabaya people. Maybe, those people don’t realize it, but if we can see that there are a lot of trees inside it, we will believe that this place is important. This Flora Park is located in the suburban of Surabaya. So if we want to visit the center of the Surabaya city, we will take a little bit far distance. In the Flora Park, there are many things, from the out bond area, play land, some animals, and many others. Every Sunday, many people around Surabaya or from the outside of Surabaya visit this Flora Park. They want to enjoy the fresher air which is provided by this Flora Park.
Besides that function
, the Flora Park is also used as the center of the compost processing in Surabaya. In the side of the park, there is a special place for that occasion. We can buy those composts for our plants at our house. This park also has some animals. These animals can make the situation there becomes more natural. If we bring our children, we can bring them there to feed those animals.
The Flora Park in Surabaya also becomes the place for educating the children about plants and animal. They can learn about how important the green spaces are for our life. They can see the trees which may be rarer in Surabaya nowadays or they can also do many activities freely. In their house, their children can’t move actively. But in this park, they can move wherever they want.
